"Expect The Anointing"

I firmly believe God wants us to expect His anointing, His tangible presence and power in our lives. I have said many times, “Where God makes a commission, He will make a provision to accomplish it.”

The anointing is given for a reason,... Kingdom service. Spontaneous dancing, Holy Ghost laughter, falling under the power and other marvels are simply beautiful by-products of the impartation of God’s power. Those wonderful happenings in the Spirit, only reflect the much greater purpose and plan of the gift given.

Specific impartations given for specific situations. In Luke 12:12, Jesus teaches His disciples not to worry when they are questioned, "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” In Acts 6:7 we read of Stephen, “full of faith and power…” who did great wonders and signs among the people.

There are many examples in God’s word where the Holy Spirit endowed the saints with power to fulfill their purpose. Indeed, he is still doing this through the modern day saints. How about you? Yes, God desires to flow His power and might through you! As you step out on faith and obey the voice of the Lord, expect the anointing. Expect His power, presence and might to flow through you!
